Pan shape open cup (capacity 10.5fl.oz) thrown in my coarse terracotta clay with a hand-pulled smooth clay handle. Inside is slipped with a lighter clay showing “red-gold” beneath honey glaze. The rim margin is wiped for good glaze adhesion, revealing “lapidary” clay tempering. Outside is slipped with my special reactive red clay with splashes of coarse, then combed fireclay that illuminates an overlaid copper green glaze. The green is set within a varied cross-glazing of Majolica glaze showing “mouse” blue-grey & earth pink & turquoise where it crosses green. This is topped with my special precipitating “Choc Chip” fleck. Round the houses perhaps but ‘tis what “the doctor” ordered!
